About

I've been writing software professionally since 2015, half those years remotely. I've solved problems across a range of industries and currently I'm building for small business owners. I've described myself as valuable to teams by offering an acute eye for detail, performance, and UX.

That's Hera up in the logo. She's my dog and by far the most photogenic member of the household.

:// The Garden

One of my hobbies is gardening - primarily vegetables. I grow from seed and spend way too much time catering to these plants throughout the year. Every summer, I go heavy on the peppers and produce my own hot sauce for family and friends. When it gets cold and the garden dies off, I then spend too much time in the garage where I grow microgreens and hydroponic veggies.

:// The Homelab

As a typical nerd with too much computing power, I self-host a l o t - photos, media, home automation. It stays up most of the time. When it doesn't, I fix it, complain about it, and mentally weigh if all this is worth my time investment. It usually is.
